Modern Day London: a place which to the outsider paints itself as a world of opportunities, wonder and excitement.

8.539 Million people, 8.539 different stories to tell. In a city that boasts Multiculturalism and diversity, London seems like the perfect place for society to thrive in harmony. But each one of these 8.539 million people have a story to tell, a moment that has changed their life, fears, worries, hopes, dreams. Real people aren’t portrayed in Big Hollywood Blockbusters, so lets start now.

This film is a compilation of different Vignettes (Scenes, Moments) that are all connected by the fast paced lifestyle of the city. We will be entering into a Film Festival as we are focusing on women’s issues in 21st Century London. This topic is very close to home and important for all of us. Vignette is a project that our entire crew are incredibly passionate about.

Housewife to her husband, Dave. The couple have been trying for children for many years now, but have yet to be successful. Julie is a socialite, she spends time with friends but often exaggerates how her life is better than it is. She is actually quite lonely and always strives for his attention and acceptance. She is a nice, lovely and genuine character that is hopelessly in love with him.

Julie’s husband, Middle-aged man, works in an office, investment broker, quite wealthy. He doesn’t deserve Julie, he’s a bit of a sleaze, very overconfident and arrogant. He does have his good perks though, he did love Julie but has fallen out of love with her. He’s the type of guy that values sex a lot and is easily swayed. He drinks a lot to overcome and forget about his problems.

Character Reference: Jordan Belfort (The Wolf of Wall Street)
