Title: Actor Needed for Final Major Project Short Film (Genre: Hustle)

‘Misdirection’ is a 10 minute short film inspired by heist film ‘Oceans 11’ and BBC One’s ‘Hustle’ TV series. The story follows Lizzie Henderson (25-30) who attempts to steal important criminal evidence from the office of an extremely wealthy and corrupted man. With help from her three friends (Thomas, Vicky, and Kevin) she successfully cons the self made millionaire and brings justice to a case that has been unsolved for almost 20 years.

The film will be shooting in late March and early April and we are currently looking for a wide range of actors to play the different roles. An audition date has not yet been set but it would take place at MediaCityUK, Salford.

The original screenplay is written by Terry Hall and Phil Brooke and will be Directed by Phil Brooke. The production company will be PJB Productions.

The script is now at a stage were it can be sent out to actors who are interested. Phil Brooke is an extremely passionate about film making and wants to create a product that is of the highest standard. The project will be shot on a Canon C100 cinema DSLR camera and edited on Avid Media Composer (the industry standard editing software). On May 12th the film will be submitted as part of his final major project and will be uploaded online for audience members to view.

Extra’s will also be needed for a scene at a posh venue/ casino.
