Title: Actor Required for Short Vampire Film
The film is a short vampire comedy intended to reach festival audiences worldwide.
The shoot dates are Friday 8th from 6PM, Saturday 9th afternoon/evening, and Sunday 10th of April. (Some pickups may be required at a later negotiable date.)
It’s a period piece that requires authentic but a mildly overstated style.
Great dialogue and story. Excellent showreel material. The process is as important to our team as much as the final product.
Work (and play) with an award-winning director, with an experienced, relaxed, efficient, fun crew who take a professional approach.
Vladigore (Vampire)
A classic vampire but played with an authenticity. Ability to play a variety of actions and a sensibility to be meek and mild as well as the powerfully dramatic vampire business. Bela Lugosi in Dracula (1931) might be a starting reference point, but there is a lot of creative space to play with this character. Vocal performance: perhaps generic or a specific Eastern European accent (or at least something convincing.) Physical presence and use of gesture is also important.
