Title: Actors and Actresses Needed for Comedy Short Film

We are creating a 15 minutes short independent film with Monumental Arts Network based on an original story and targeted at local and international short film festivals.

The film shows the hilarious story about an awkward, lonely man, Nicholas, and his mission to win the heart of his beautiful coworker, Renee. The problem is that each time he tries to talk to her he finds a way to make a fool out of himself, much to the amusement of his best friend, Mike.

The script has been finalized and extracts will be provided to selected applicants.

Auditions will be held on the weekend of March 26 & 27 in Edmonton, AB. Auditions make continue to the weekend of April 2 & 3 depending on the volume of applications. The location to be advised. Matt

Matt is the best friend and coworker of Nicholas. He thinks that there is nothing more funny than watching his friend make a fool out of himself while trying to impress the girl. He isn’t afraid to call out his friend’s ridiculous plans nor is he particularly shy while laughing. He is there for his friend when he needs it, whether it be a pep talk, advice, or a pick me up. He’s the guy in the office that everyone wants to get around because they know that they’re in for a good laugh.

Mr Thomas

Mr Thomas is the boss at the office. He is loud, blunt, and unknowingly hilarious. Everyone in the office greatly respects him because he is fair, straight forward, and doesn’t micromanage. He is the type of boss that will call out his team when they’ve done something wrong like falling asleep during a lecture but mostly to make a joke out of it, especially when it comes to Nicholas and Matt.

Males, aged 35 to 50 from Alberta, Canada
