Renegade Pictures are making a brand new, uplifting and celebratory documentary for Channel 4 about a wedding, and they are looking for real brides and grooms to be, and their extended families, to take part.

This one-off observational documentary hopes to share the emotions and excitement involved in the build up to, and on a couple’s special day – giving insight into what it’s like to get married in 2016 – a snapshot of human life, right now.

We’re looking for couples who come from different backgrounds to each other, or perhaps had contrasting upbringings, to help us celebrate union in modern Britain. This could be a city boy marrying a country girl, it could be a couple bridging the North/South divide, or perhaps a fusion, multicultural or interfaith wedding – or maybe something completely different! We would love to hear stories from people getting married this Spring/Summer who tell us something about modern times. Maybe your families have different attitudes to marriage and it tells us something about how times may, or may not, have changed.

Ultimately, we want this documentary to be sensitive and thought provoking, with takeaway messages that we can all relate to about love, life and everything in between! Successful couples (and their extended families) have the opportunity to have their big day expertly captured, with the ultimate wedding keep sake.

At the moment, we are undertaking no-obligation chats with brides and grooms to be, just to find out a bit more about themselves and their wedding.
