bearer of bad news”. She is good at her job but she also exhibits a dynamic sense of compassion.

Jade / Bianca Richardson Audition Side:
INT. PRIVATE OFFICE – DAY
DOLLY around a cubicle to reveal JADE, early thirties, in a chair sitting across from BIANCA RICHARDSON, mid-forties, a loan officer, disheveled papers and files strewn across her desk.
Sorry ma’m, you don’t qualify
for this home.
Well, what are my options?
Your credit could be better and
you just need more collateral.
Jade / Olivia Audition Side:
INT. JADE’S HOUSE – AFTERNOON
Cluttered, claustrophobic. Little flower pots line the window sill. Jade’s young daughter, OLIVIA, eight to ten years old, is overtop the pots watering the flowers. As she comes to the last pot, it is a wilted flower. She grows sad and turns to her mom.
It’s dying, Mom.
Not enough sunlight, sweetie.
I wish we had a backyard.
Me too, Liv.
Jade looks down at the messy kitchen table, bills scattered, going through the mail, one by one.
INSERT: SEA ISLAND HABITAT FOR HUMANITY FLYER
CU Jade – Hope in her eyes.
