I am looking for a female singer to join a new London based roots / country / blues function band. The material will cover classic and current tunes, including Fleetwood Mac, Lumineers, Alabama Shakes, Mumford & Sons etc. This type of material is hugely popular at the moment for event bookings, particularly with those looking for a departure from the usual soul / Motown bands. I have a well paid function gig booked for this band already, so am keen to get the line up finalised and into the studio.

I am a guitarist and vocalist, and so the idea would be to have dual female / male vocals on some of the songs, which works really well – the opportunity for close harmonies will set this project apart.

I would also very much like to be able perform with the singer of this band as an acoustic duo – I have lots of experience of that, with a website already built and an agency profile, and many songs arranged for guitar and harmonies. It is a great way to expand the reach to other types of event.

About me – I am a professional musician, and degree graduate of Tech Music School / BIMM and entrepreneur. I’m 35, from London with years of experience of performing in all situations (google The Reelers and Eureka Station for some of my original projects). I’m also very dedicated, and highly motivated to make this project financially lucrative as well as fun.

What I am looking for:

– An enthusiastic and talented singer, who loves to perform and engage an audience;
– Preferably a pro musician / part time worker, as much of the rehearsal time will need to be during the daytime and gigs in the week: it’s much more difficult if you work long hours as well;
– The band will rehearse in South London, so it would be great if you are close by. That would also help for duo rehearsals.

Please let me have some information about your experience and some video of you performing.
