Please apply to book an audition slot or for more information.

Please prepare a short (1.30-2 min) excerpt from an energetic and lively pop song sung with enthusiasm and clarity. Pick a song you can have fun singing, which can show why you’ll be a good performer in front of children. KKT would strongly advise singing with a backing track, unless you would like to bring your own acoustic guitar to accompany yourself. Please only self-accompany if you would be prepared to do so onstage.

Think carefully about the appropriateness of your song choice for KKT’s audience of 4-12-year-olds. Some examples of songs used in previous shows:
– Wake Me Up Before You Go Go – Wham!
– Shake it Off -Taylor Swift
– Don’t Stop Believing – Journey
– Hall of Fame – The Script
– Firework – Katy Perry
– Best Song Ever – One Direction
– Happy – Pharell Williams
– Marry You- Bruno Mars

After the singing portion of your audition, you will learn a snippet of choreography for the show. The main thing the choreographer wants to see is people that can bring energy and charisma to their performance. For a children’s show, it is mostly about enjoying yourself. If you’re having fun, so will the audience!

This will be followed by some workshopping of scenes.
