Requirements

– Candidate must be able to receive school credit
– Majoring in Human Resources/ Communications preferred but not required
– Great organization skills
– Driven to learn and grow, ability to adapt and learn quickly, understanding how to prioritize
– Detail oriented and thorough
– Adheres to confidentiality
– Fluent in English, additional language skills is a plus
– Excellent communication/interpersonal skills both verbal and written
– Self-motivated, proactive with a positive attitude

Responsibilities

Recruitment & Pre-Start
• Assist HR team in full time/temporary/intern recruitment process by;
 – Completing searches on LinkedIn – exposure to LinkedIn recruiter seat
 – Job postings
 – Coordinating interviews/letting down candidates/letting current applicants know status
 – Reference checks
 – Sitting in on interviews with HR Associate from time to time
Administrative
• Assist HR team in new hire offer process by;
 – Formatting job descriptions / putting on standard template
 – Send out new hire welcome packets
 – Order supplies for new hire welcome bags
 – Help with planning office events
Projects
• Assist HR Associate in organizing events for the internship program as well as for the culture club committee
• Assist team in research projects i.e. (management training courses, OSHA updates, workplace violence, etc.)
