Internship: Leanne Marshall seeks Fashion Design Intern

Leanne Marshall is a NYC based fashion designer famous for her bridal collection and stunning RTW collections, shown at NYFW each season. Design interns work directly under Leanne Marshall herself. Our interns learn new techniques and skills while gaining valuable first hand experience in the fashion industry and NYFW.

Requirements

– currently enrolled in school
-good communicator
-willingness to learn
-some sewing/design experience
-dependable

Responsibilities

Include but not limited to:
– assisting in hand embellishing NYFW collection
– using patterns to cut our skirt linings and other items as needed
– cutting lace
– hand sewing
– sourcing materials
– quality control of dresses
– assisiting seamstresses
– organizing fabrics, trims, etc
– steam/fix floor samples in showroom
