LANVIN Paris is currently seeking a Wholesale intern to assist the men’s wholesale team with all aspects of its business. Ideal candidates must be eager to enter the fashion/wholesale industry and have a strong background of the industry. Strong proficiency in excel is a plus.
We are looking for an intern to start in either January or February 2017.
LANVIN is the oldest Parisian couture house, started by Jeanne Lanvin in 1889. It remains today a top reference in French Luxury. Jeanne Lanvin’s main inspiration was her daughter, Marguerite. This filial love became the emblem of the house in “The Mother and Child” logo.
Jeanne officially started her Men’s business in 1926 with a bespoke workshop making suits and shirts. It was the first fashion house to drses both women and men. Since 2005, Lucas Ossendrijver has been at the helm of LANVIN Homme as Men’s Style Director. Ossedrijver’s goals have been to perpetuate the spirit of the house while reinterpreting the codes of the modern man’s wardrobe, from classic tailoring to fashion sportswear.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Interest and Understanding of Fashion/Wholesale industry
Recently acquired or currently seeking Bachelor’s Degree
Relevant Majors: Economics, Finance, Sales, Management, Fashion, Arts/Design, Marketing
Available at least 2-3 days/week
Overall: assist men’s wholesale team with all aspects of business administration
– Assist in weekly sales reporting
– Run stock reports
– Work with Account Executive to answer client questions and needs
– Liaise with Paris team to ensure client satisfaction
– Maintain presentation of showroom and provide assistance during market appointments
– Review client orders and submissions
– Understand internal order/data systems and company structure
