The cross-departmental approach at a small company such as CHNY prepares our students to enhance their skill set in a way that a typical classroom education does not allow. Each Intern has the opportunity to liaise with almost every department, which means the intern will also have access to the workings of every department and gain knowledge in every aspect of a retail company. A working environment at CHNY provides a practical learning platform and is a great chance for students to quickly acquire hands-on experience in the business world.

At Carolina Herrera we are looking for smart, resourceful students who are driven to succeed and who are not afraid to learn. Curious and innovative individuals, who want to join our Unique Company as it embarks on such a momentous time in fashion.
Must be able to receive school credit
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Shadowing the Public Relations team and having hands on experience with the preparation of press decks, press releases and sample trafficking with top industry publications.
-Participating in showroom organization and inventory tracking.
-Contributing in retail and brand marketing initiatives from beginning to end. This includes digital projects (social media, website development, and competitive research), advertising and media analyses, and witness retail events, runway show preparation, and producing marketing materials.
-Marketing interns will participate in the area of social media by contributing to weekly competitive analysis (trends, statistics), and having hands on experience with weekly reporting on the House of Herrera’s analytics and blogger research.
-Participating in research projects within the VIP Entertainment Industry including red carpet competitor analyses and checking through weekly tabloids to seek the new “it” celebrities that are appropriate for the House of Herrera.
-Exposure to in-house master Press, contact lists and participate in the updating of contacts.
