Internship: TechDesign Intern

China Ting USA is an international company that represents contemporary brands: Chelsea and Walker & Finity along with manufacturing and designing for private label collections for Macys INC. and Charter Club.
The internship position will encompass responsibilities from production to merchandising. Selected interns will have the opportunity to learn how the back-end of fashion functions.

Requirements

Requirements
– Basic understanding of garment construction and measurements
– Workable skills with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
– Basic knowledge of tech packs
– Be in a Fashion or Technical design program or have finished with a Fashioner Technical design degree
– Attention to details.

Responsibilities

– Help create / update techpacks
– Measure and Conclude garment measurements based on blocks
– Data entry
– Organize tech packs, sample room and fabric swatches
– Required skills : MS office, Photo shop, Illustrator
