THE ROW was established in 2006 by Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen. Since its launch, the brand has expanded to include a range of ready-to-wear, eyewear, and handbags. THE ROW reflects a sense of relaxed and timeless elegance, focusing on fine fabrics and the perfect fit. In 2012, The Council of Fashion Designers of America named Ashley and Mary-Kate as Womenswear Designers of The Year. Part of THE ROW’s mission is to support high-end fashion manufacturing in the US.
The Fabric R&D Intern role is an entry level CREDIT ONLY position that is responsible for assisting the fabric team in research for fabric development as well as sample trim. This includes but is not limited to: receiving sample fabric, managing fabric development boards, maintaining and updating fabric and embroidery archive.
Must be available a minimum of 3 full days a week.
Must be able to receive school credit for internship, this position is not paid.
Previous knowledge and or experience in fabric is not required but preferred.
Assisting fabric team in research and development for sample fabric as well as trim, receiving sample fabric, managing sample fabric boards, maintaining sample fabric and embroidery archives, and souring locally for sample fabric and trim.
