Internship: THOM BROWNE INC. seeks Wholesales Intern

A career in wholesale bridges the gap between the production world and the retail landscape.

During this internship, you will learn a leading industry merchandise management software, how to create & strengthen relationships with new and existing accounts, learn how to build and manage purchase orders, become familiar working with clients and models in a showroom setting and gain a thorough understanding of what a career in Wholesale can offer.

This internship is a fantastic opportunity for the candidate to be completely immersed in a wholesale career. It is important that the candidate understand this opportunity comes with a lot of very hard (yet rewarding) work, with extreme emphasis on data entry, emails and other clerical tasks. You will not be getting coffee or running menial errands; instead, you will be learning and performing the exact duties of an actual account assistant.

Requirements

We are looking for a positive candidate with a terrific work ethic who can work a minimum of three full days a week. Someone who is self-motivated, intelligent, dedicated and passionate about the fashion industry and the brand. A strong understanding of Excel is mandatory.

Responsibilities

-Learn and navigate successfully through our ERP system



-Showroom work. This will include packing and unpacking of samples, working with models and assisting with appointments.



-Sample management. You will assist in organizing and shipping samples for promotional shoots, editorials, trunk shows, etc.
