The cross-departmental approach at a small company such as CHNY prepares our students to enhance their skill set in a way that a typical classroom education does not allow. Each Intern has the opportunity to liaise with almost every department, which means the intern will also have access to the workings of every department and gain knowledge in every aspect of a retail company. A working environment at CHNY provides a practical learning platform and is a great chance for students to quickly acquire hands-on experience in the business world.
Our main goal is to engage young talented students and evolve our future leaders of Fashion. At Carolina Herrera we are looking for smart, resourceful students who are driven to succeed and who are not afraid to learn. Curious and innovative individuals, who want to join our Unique Company as it embarks on such a momentous time in fashion.

Must be able to receive school credit

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Weekly in-store visits: shadow visual manager on visual presentations that are enticing in order to draw business through window displays and floor appearance.
-Analyzing weekly selling reports and touch base meetings with Store Managers to Business Managers to maximize selling and visual presentation.
-Witness the Visual Merchandising Manager with product rotations and re-merchandising according to sell thru and quantity of buys in NYC locations
-Participate in visual standards by learning the process of how directives are created and sent to US boutiques.
-For market week preparation exposure to market appointments with the Sales department.
-Look-book shoot: shadow the Visual Manager and the Marketing team during shoots.
-Participate in additional special projects when needed such as in-store events or trunk shows.
