The US Wholesale department at Philpp Plein is looking for the intern of the century to join our superstar team and help take Philipp Plein to the next level. Here is the opportunity to work with diverse groups of people around the country to help fulfill their retail needs. In this experience you will not only be exposed to some of the best stores through the eyes of a growing fashion brand, but you will get to learn how to read minds and walk through walls in the process (okay maybe not this, but the first part for sure). If you love people, fashion, and get nervous when you go a day without opening an excel doc, then this is the opportunity for you.
Start: Mid-December 2016
End: May/June 2017
The ideal candidate would be:
-Currently enrolled in a four-year university or accredited graduate program.
-Eligible to receive school credit.
-Must be able to commit to at least 3 full work days per week
-Passion for the fashion industry and sales.
-Outgoing personality and superb communication.
-Experience with Microsoft Excel.
-Be a genuinely cool person. No one likes a party pooper 😉
-Support Sales Manager in daily communication with wholesale accounts to ensure great customer service.
-Assist in building lead generation for prospective accounts.
-Conduct market preparation – Setting appointments, working with price lists, organizing samples.
-Assist in market appointments – Work with models, maintain visual merchandising, organize and check orders, assist in seasonal analysis.
-Visit current and prospective accounts to conduct market research and get feedback.
-Help coordinate in-store events and employee incentives.
