HOURS: 8am – 6pm
COMPENSATION: Up to $55K Depending on Experience + Benefits + Discretionary Bonus

Prominent Finance Firm in Midtown Manhattan is looking to hire a Receptionist to join their firm. This is a co-Reception position so you will be working alongside one other Receptionist. Candidate MUST be impeccably polished and professional. Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of prior experience. Candidate MUST be articulate, hospitable, and have a warm, welcoming, pleasant personality. This is an amazing opportunity to become a part of a great team at a prominent, high energy, firm. Responsibilities of the Receptionist:
– Answer phones and transfer calls to appropriate person (or assistant)
– Report to Office Manager – work along with Hospitality Manager on projects/maintenance/etc.
– Greet all guests, including carrying on casual conversation, hanging coats, offering drinks and showing them to the appropriate conference room or office
– Work closely with office personnel to ensure all calendars for conference rooms maintained accurately
– Monitor cleanliness of conference rooms/overall office space
– Input and confirm security clearance for all visitors
– Manage and order office supplies as needed
– Prepare outgoing packages (including USPS, Fedex, DHL, etc.)
– Sort and distribute mail
– Administrative support as requested by office staff

Requirements of the Receptionist:
– Must be a polished, responsible, well mannered, team player
– Bachelor’s Degree preferred
– Concierge service industry a plus
– Must have at least 2 years of experience in support/concierge role
– No candidates that have financial licensing or professional college degrees (i.e. JD, MD, etc.)
– Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
– Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
– MUST be punctual
– Friendly, must have great chemistry with current receptionist*
– Must have good discretion when answered or transferring calls
– Verification of identity, education, prior employment, and references may be required

SALARY

$55,000
