We have a fantastic opportunity for a London based make-up artist to work on a pilot episode of a web series.

The web series is called Augury and it’s a police based crime thriller set in London, but with the cinematic look, feel and tone of Seven, Silence of the Lambs and Zodiac.

It’s an ambitious shoot with quite a lot going on, but that’s why it’s such a great opportunity for any Make-up artist that’s tired of working on one-dimensional films and kitchen-sink dramas. Whoever joins the project will have the opportunity to push themselves as make-up artists. If that sounds like you then please get in touch.

The shoot will be taking place in the last two weeks of March and while this is a final year graduation film, it’s in no way a student production. We have an award winning screenwriter attached to the project, as well as a director that currently has a feature film being screened in cinemas nationwide.

In addition to the film shoot the make-up artist will be required to attend a one-day photography shoot next week. On this day you will be required to add cuts and bruises to males actors playing dead victims in the film. Moreover, you will also be designing and applying make-up to male model for 1980’s fashion shoot, which will be also used in the film.

This is an expenses only project: Food, travel, and a copy of the final video. However, everyone in involved (cast and crew) will have first refusal of retaining their roles if/when the web-series gets further funding. The screenwriter is already signed on for the first season, as is the director, so if this sounds like a project you want to get involved in – we’d love to hear from you.
