Make up Artist Needed for College Short film – Thriller

We are studying BTEC level 3 Film and Media , year 2, at HOW College ,Bromsgrove , Worcestershire. For one of our units we are filming a ten-minute short film of our own choice and we would like a make-up artist to help do simple special effects. (For free.) Please contact us if you would be interested quite fast as well since filming begins on the 24th of this month.

This is our first short film but we have made a ten documentary, Vox pops, Opening sequences Etc. before, while we are beginners we have enough enthusiasm to make up for it.

The story which we chose to do is called Insatiable it is a psychological thriller consisting of a mixture of reality, flashbacks, and dream sequences. The story is about Teegan Crawford, a young woman who’s being stalked by a man named Edwin, who’s smitten with her despite her being in a relationship with another woman. The story follows Teegan and her struggle with constant nightmares and panic attacks induced by her stalker. Overall there are five characters in the film, Teegan Crawford, her girlfriend, her friend Lauren, Edwin the antagonist and a counsellor.
The type of make-up we need is cuts, bruises, scratches etc. Plus make-up to make someone look exhausted and sleep deprived.
