Eddie – lead role

Eddie has been suffering from depression and mild psychotic issues for some time. Taking in the dog is his attempt to get a sense of purpose and normality in his life again, which only seems to work temporarily. Eddie is a mild-mannered, lonely and generally pessimistic person, but is able to show happiness when things are going right for him.

Jeff – supporting role

Jeff is probably the only friend Eddie has, although it’s been a while since they’ve seen each other. He brings Eddie the dog out of desperation, but on some level he might be trying to help Eddie. A good humoured if self-centred individual.
