Title: One Actor and One Actress Required for a Murder Mystery in Bournmouth

We are looking for an actress in a 1920’s comedy style improvisational Murder mystery for Friday 14 to Sunday to Sunday 16 October 2016. It is a fun roles to play and may lead to future bookings.

You will be playing a 1920’s housekeeper and ideally will have a suitable costume but we may be able to assist, depending on your dress size. Ideally you will have good comedy timing and either have some level of acting experience or the confidence to act in a murder mystery. We are looking for someone with a playing age of 45 – 65. You will receive a short scenario and characterisation. You will receive the full scenario for the weekend and an outline of the character.

We are looking to engage a local actress but as you will be at the hotel from late Friday afternoon until early afternoon on the Sunday, we will consider someone from further afield.

PLEASE PLEASE note we are not looking to engage anyone from out of the area as we are on a limited budget so if you live within a 50 mile radius of Bournmouth, that would be ideal.

We are one of the most successful murder mystery companies in the UK (established in 1999) and whilst this is a “one off” booking, it could lead to future bookings in the South of England.

Carole Creme – the subservient housekeeper

You are the housekeeper at Marble Mansion, the family home of Nicola Navey. Ideally you will be timid, subservient with a cheeky/wicked sense of humour . Think Downton Abbey/Cluedo. You MUST be able to improvise, blend into the background when necessary but often get under the feet of Nicola Navey & her niece. Your character appears throughout the weekend with ample opportunity to gain the sympathy of the audience. You must have your own transport and be reliable.
