I’m working on a disability-rights campaign and also want to apply to an agency which focuses on models with disabilities. This particular agency requires models to provide photographs of themselves with the reason for their disability made clear for clients looking for a particular type of modelling.
I’m partially-sighted so would need to include my white stick in shots. To clarify the nature of my sightloss, I have limited peripheral vision but clear central-vision so shoots would not require particular adaptions for my disability. My stick would simply be used as the focus of the photography.
As I’ve worked as an artistic model for a few years I’m used to thinking up interesting poses quickly and I have some unusual ideas for this but other ideas from applicants are very welcome too!
This would be a TFP opportunity but my work as a musician will begin to generate paid work for photographers very soon.
Please get in touch if you’re interested!
