Our long standing Street Dance Teacher is changing industry completey and moving on to new challenges leading to a vacancy at Flair School of Dance in Maidstone. We are a long established school with a good fun approach to classes. Our ethos is very much that everyone, regardless of standard or ability, should have a great time in class. And as such, in our relaxed and non competitive environment we have found that our students really thrive and are dancing to a high level.

The Street Dance classes that we are looking for a teacher for are split across two days. Though would be interested in hearing from you even if you can just do one.

Monday 4pm – 5.30, two 45 minute classes (Street Dance 1 & 2) with students aged 4 – 6 in the first class and 7 – 9 in the second.

Tuesday 4.15 – 8pm as follows;
4.15 – 5pm, Street Dance 1 (ages 4 – 6)
5pm – 6pm, Street Dance 2 (ages 7 – 9)
6pm – 7pm, Street Dance 3 (ages 10 – 14)
7pm – 8pm, Street Dance 4 (ages 15 – 18)

We have aproximately 16 students in each class, though some are a little larger.

Forthcoming events include exams in April, a performance at the Royal Albert Hall in May, and at the Hazlit Theatre in June.

Looking for someone to start immediately.

It is important that any teacher joining our team understand the importance of a good working relationship with parents and students alike. We are not the sort of dance school where children have orders barked at them.

Lessons should be fun but structured (registration, appropriate warm etc). The main bulk of the lesson should be routine tuition based, with additional elements such as steps from the corner added in.

Teachers must have good time management as classes run back to back.

Females, aged 24 to 35 from Kent, United Kingdom
