I’m looking for three male actors. The characters are a family. The main character will be between 18 to 20 years old, his brother will be between 20 to 23 years old, and their father can be anything between 40 to 55. We are planning to shoot on the 22nd and 23th of october, but the dates might change because of production issues. We will held auditions on the 15th. This short explores the abstract art and the psychologycal it can create on people.

An art student who struggles with an abstractness

This character greatly admieres his father, so when his father brings a new painting (which is abstract) he tries to understand it. Everytime he sees the painting, he sees a new detail which he didn’t notice before, until he realises that it changed on it’s own. This character is the most provinent on the short, but there isn’t much dialogue. The story is told mostly visualy.

The main character’s father

This character is an artist, and art restorer. He doesn’t do much on the short. He firstly appears with an abstract painting. When his children don’t appreciate the piece, he tells them to look beyond the paint and deeper into it’s meaning and the feeling that it conveys.
