Title: Urgently seeking backing singer/dancers for corporate 70s/80s show band

Wanted two male or female backing singer/dancers with personality and sense of humour. Must have strong vocal harmony ability to back contralto lead vocalist. Do not need to be trained dancers. But if you have natural rhythm and can move and learn dance steps fairly quickly (nothing complicated), no probs. There’s also room to contribute to dance routines. Will be outfitted in era appropriate outfits/wigs, etc. Band members are in their 40s/50s. Ideally someone who has experience working as part of a band’s frontline would suit with natural soulful/rock voice. Mature age preferred (over 30s). Rehearsals fortnightly in the meantime (some week night evenings/or weekend afternoons), but will be stepped up to weekly.
Rehearsals are in Lara at the moment (just outside of Geelong). Have recently started rehearsing band, but require the rest of lineup to complete show and to start coming up with dance routines before organising promo material, demos and representation. Aim to be doing corporate shows and would like to be performance ready within 4-6 months.
