Title: Visual Effects Artist Required for Feature Film

We are on the look out for a talented visual effects artist who can provide us with some final retouching of some footage for our feature film “Memories of Michael” This film is very close to completing post-production, with this being one of the final things remaining on our to-do list.

We have just submitted a rough cut of this film to Sundance for consideration for their 2017 film festival in January and we’ll be submitting to numerous other film festivals soon.

“Memories of Michael” follows the journey of promising young club fighter Michael Wilson (Andrew Gordon) and his battle with a life-changing illness. A story of love, self-discovery, friendship, pride and the fighting spirit.

Duties for our successful applicant will include:
– Rotoscoping around a couple of actors in order to remove an unwanted window from the background of a scene.
– Adding sweat and blood spray to the big hits in our fight scene’s
– Retouching actors skin breakouts in a few scenes.
– Replacing blown-out window panels with clearer footage.

We need these tasks completed by mid-November at the latest.
This is a micro-budget production and funds are tight, but we are happy to negotiate an appropriate payment for this work with successful applicants.

If you’re a talent and passionate visual effects artist who can work efficiently and reasonably quickly, we want to hear from you.
