This is a call for a young actor and actress to be involved in the filming of a new music video for satirical singer-songwriter Chris Tavener.
– Early twenties would be ideal but a little outside that is not a problem
– No essential criteria on appearance

The video is a close comparison to the story of the song that it will accompany. The song is called ‘Modern Romance’, a comedy song about the drunken romantic goings-on in a nightclub in the early hours of the morning. It’s a love song but not as we know it! The applicants must be comfortable with some intimate kissing scenes. The filming is expected to take place at The Whiskey Jar in Manchester. Availability is required for one full day on 29th March 2016. Unfortunately there is no payment but expenses and food will be paid for.

Myself and the film-maker have worked together before and this week released a video for a single called ‘I’m Better Than You’. To be found at this link: This new video will accompany a new single release in April.

Romantic Nightclub Goers (Lead roles)

Comedy roles. The couple in their early twenties (some room for manoeuvre on age) meet in a nightclub bar. While in their semi-drunken state they become enamoured with each other which leads to a very swift escalation of intimacy. The drunken romantic antics ensue! It is important to note that the applicants must be comfortable with intimate kissing scenes but anything that goes beyond that is implied and therefore not required.
