Are you looking to break into the West Virginia film industry?
If so, we have some good news for you because the West Virginia Film Office released two major casting calls via a press release and boy, do they look promising.
First off, American Family Insurance is now casting a ton of roles for an upcoming video production. Producers are looking for actors that are skilled at golf. Filming will take place in June. In addition, IA Productions of Charleston is casting for several TV commercials filming in West Virginia and there are 40 roles available.

West Virginia Casting Calls
CASTING CALL #1: American Family Insurance is producing a video for its incentive trip awards banquet (to be held at The Greenbrier in July). AFI is seeking one actor, adult male or female (minorities are encouraged to apply) that is skilled at golf. There are no lines to speak. All applicants must have the appropriate golf clothing and equipment for the shoot. The shoot date is June 1, with a possible rain date of June 2. Deadline to submit your headshot and acting resume is May 11. CASTING CALL #2: IA Productions of Charleston is casting for a series of TV spots to be filmed over the course of one week in early June in the Charleston & Fayette County areas. Seeking females and males, at least 18 years of age who can play ages 21-32 for non-speaking vignettes. There are 40 roles to be cast. Acting ability is desirable but not required. IA seeks everyday folks, similar to those in the poster. To be considered, go to talent.iaproductions.com and fill out the talent form. Be sure to include recent headshots and full body shots (appropriately clothed) and list any skills you have. Activities are still being determined and may depend on the skills you bring to the production.
