An actor is needed for a short family drama film based on the lives of a Nigerian family in London. ‘Black on Black’ sees the patriarch of the family struggle to accept his daughters Jamaican boyfriend. His attitude and unwillingness to accept him threatens to break the family apart.

We are looking for a black male (aged between 40 – 60 ) to play the role of Tunde.

Filming to begin late April. If you are please send us an example of your past work or a video of yourself doing a monologue.

Lola – late teens, she is a lively young college student, fun loving and adventurous. She is the girlfriend of Leroy and the Daughter of Stella and Tunde.

Tunde – An African man in his 50’s, serious and protective of his daughter, a mechanic by trade and a proud man. Husband of Stella and Lola’s father.

Leroy – A young man in his late teens, he is of mixed background as his mum is Nigerian and his dad is Jamaican. Boyfriend of Lola.

Stella – 46 year old African woman, lively – the peace keeper of the family. Wife of Tunde, mother to Lola.

Please note that we are unable to provide any payment for the acting jobs. However, we will cover expenses for travelling when filming our project. All actors will receive a digital copy of the final film.

As we are University students in central London, we have access to many high tech, professional equipment including cameras and editing software so we see this as a great opportunity to create a professional looking piece of media for your show reels, and will also gain each party experience in working with a crew and with acting on film.

We are situated in Central London and are very close to many of the underground stations.
