AfterWork Theater is a non-profit organization that enriches the everyday lives of adults by creating the opportunity to participate in theatrical experiences that promote fun, community, and creative self-expression. No audition required.
As we ramp up for the coming year, we are seeking a boatload of creative team members to join our team in leading a variety of programs including fully-staged musicals, musical revues, weekly classes and more. All of our programs meet on nights and weekends in NYC. We are proud to have produced more than 20 shows featuring more than four hundred New Yorkers from all walks of life.
We are looking to staff the following positions:
Approximately 12 hours/week for 8 weeks
Flat fee of $1500-$2500 per project depending on role and program
Called for Tech, Dress, and 4-10 performances
Flat fee of $500-$2000 per project depending on role and program
All Orchestra Members
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in their field. While experience is vital that will be secondary to your ability to foster personal growth within our participants. You will also hold the responsibility of balancing the incredibly wide variety of experience and abilities in the room. Applicants should be, first and foremost, fiercely compassionate community builders with a masterful ability to generate a safe, creative, and inclusive space.

Compensation will vary depending on program and job title. These roles are for individuals looking for temporary part-time work. These are not full-time jobs.
