This project is distinct from my main listing as composer/musical director.

It is for a band with which I have been working for five years. We have enjoyed extensive success throughout the UK and mainland Europe, having played headline spots at leading festivals and other venues. We have released two albums, the most recent in 2014, and are currently finishing our third, which is being executive-produced by a leading name musician. Our last album received rave reviews in many magazines and music websites, and we are keen to build on that success.

We made major revisions to the band last year, and are now looking to re-form with a slightly different sound. To this end, we need someone who is prepared to put in the time rehearsing to get our sound right. We incorporate elements of symphonic and progressive rock, and World music. We have been described as “Tarja meets Solstice,” which is probably a fairly accurate description.

This is not a project that will lead to immediate gigs, but we have agents in the UK and mainland Europe who will continue promoting the band at the highest levels as soon as we are ready. It is therefore a medium-term project, so please only apply if you are prepared to put in the effort before reaping the reward.

If you are currently working with other bands, that is understandable. However, once we are under way again, we will expect serious commitment. If you have a regular job, that is OK, as long as you are able to get time off for European trips. No long tours are currently envisaged; we are mainly away for no more than 5 -10 days at a time.

The music is not difficult or particularly complex, but it does require a disciplined approach. If you are just seeking other musicians to jam with, good luck, but please look elsewhere.

We have our own rehearsal and recording facility in North London (NW11.) Ideally, you will live within easy reach of there.
