We are rolling out a campaign for our film in development titled “Circuit”, a feature film around the topic of Human Trafficking in the USA. We have a fantastic team on board for this project and I couldn’t be more excited! We’ve collectively worked with companies such as Disney, HBO, Lifetime, AMC, and Lionsgate, as well as some familiar names such as Oprah Winfrey, Chris Pine, Jude Law, Reese Witherspoon, Zach Galafanakis, Dean Cain, and the list goes on.
We are shooting the opening scene of our film on March 11th and are casting for the roles below. Please note that this IS NOT final casting for the feature, but simply to shoot this scene for our Indiegogo campaign. It is possible that actors will be asked back for the feature but not guaranteed.
Our opening scene shows several girls being “processed” into the trafficking ring. The girls are fed pills and a bracelet attached to them as they are “cattled” through into a holding area. Our hero breaks in and saves the girl.
LEAD – African American Female – 19-25 years old. Physically fit. A hero. Think Jessica Jones. Martial arts experience and ability to handle weapons are a plus.
Extras: We need anywhere from 10-20 girls to play victims of trafficking. Girl will be asked to wear skimpy/dirty clothing/bra and underwear. We will work with whatever you are comfortable with. 2 actors will be selected for speaking roles.
Guards: 3-5 Men. Any ethnicity. Both smokers and non. All builds welcomed.
We already have several non-profit organizations backing our campaign, as well as marketing team members from Mel Gibson’s “Hacksaw Ridge”, the FBI, and more. We are confident our film will receive funding and look forward to creating an ACCURATE account of what human trafficking looks like in the United States. This is a passion project for the team and we look forward to working with like-minded individuals to help shed some light on this often misunderstood topic.
