‘The Rational Thoughts of Raphael’ is a look inside the mind of Raphael, a man who has recently lost his wife to cancer. It explores the interaction between performance, lighting and photography.

Raphael sees himself as a realist with an understanding of what needs fixing in the world. He also recognises that his wife may have seen him as a pessimist, as might others, but he is determined to give the world a wake-up call before it’s too late.
