We are seeking enthusiastic and talented professional musicians to join our expanding team and open news choirs for us around the UK. We were the first contemporary choir in the UK and remain the most popular and high-profile. We have won three Guinness World Records, achieved two top-twenty albums, and been the subject of a three-part ITV1 documentary The Choir That Rocks.

You will need great piano and vocal skills along with a charismatic and bubbly personality. There is no need to have led choirs before but commitment and motivation is key to making this role a success! This role is rewarding and gives you the chance to change people’s lives through our music, performance and teaching. Please note, it is essential that you have a full GB driving licence and car.

You will have the chance to work as a self-employed musician with the opportunity to develop in a successful and continuously expanding family run business, with a friendly and supportive HQ team to help you along the way. Successful applicants will join the current team of 60 Choir Leaders who are some of the best musicians in the UK. You will get the chance to be a part of fantastic performance and recording experiences, with regular spots on TV and radio. We have previously performed at the O2, Wembley and NEC to name just a few! You will work a 4 day week leading choirs learning popular songs with 1 additional regular training day per month and work 30-35 weeks per year with long holidays. Arrangements and many other resources and support are provided. Your choirs would mostly take place on weekday evenings and you would be leading the choir members (who will become like an extended family to you) to concerts locally and nationally.

We are expanding across the country so we are interested to hear from musicians from all over the UK! We have an excellent training scheme which will take place before you start leading your choirs from this September.

One of our Choir Leaders had this to say about her role at Rock Choir – “Being a Rock Choir Leader means that nearly every weekday night, I get to spend quality time with 50 to 100 of my closest friends.” Maxine Cherrie (Cheshire and Lancashire Rock Choir Leader)
