For the final scene of our film, we need to fill the majority of the Heath Ledger State Theatre with an audience of around 300 people.
We’re looking for an audience of ages 10-100 (no small children please). Dress code is smart casual (It’s a high-class theatre, so no thongs, trackies or singlets).
DATE & TIME: Friday April 22nd, 5.00pm-8.00pm
All that’s required of you in the scene is for you to sit quietly while we shoot and then give a standing ovation on cue. It’s very simple, but it will be a worthwhile experience to see just how large scale filmmaking operates.
Tyler is a 22 year old amateur actor desperately fighting his way into the business. When a prominent film director notices Tyler’s outstanding work as an extra on the set of his latest film, he decides to cast him in his next project: a stage adaption of Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Tyler’s social circles initially ignite with excitement over his success, but as the freshness of his casting fades, so too does everyone’s interest in his endeavours. Thus, Tyler begins to dismiss his relationships as he dives deeper and deeper into his character, leading to an eventual unravelling that may not only terminate the affection of those that love him, but cost him the role he sacrificed it all for.
The film will be posted onto the Facebook event page after its early 2017 internet release. If you’d like the footage available for a showreel, we may be able to give you access to selected clips sooner.
Please feel free to invite family and friends!
