Title: Extras Required for Screen Academy Production

Riptide is a short film about the love and passion for surfing, set along the beautiful Western Australian coastline. The film tells the story of a promising young surfer who is confronted with a personal tragedy that challenges her deep connection with the ocean.

Shooting will take place from the 30th of April until the 3rd of May 2016. These roles are unpaid however food will be provided on the day. Riptide will also screen on Channel 9 at the end of the year.

Surfer – Multiple

Extras required to portray surfers in a paddle out scene. Safety officers will be present on set at all times, however due this scene taking place in the water, all applicants for these roles must be competent surfers/swimmers and ideally also able to provide their own surfboard and wetsuit. Filming of this scene will tentatively take place on Saturday April 30 and Sunday May 1.
