Merchandising Internship, Derek Lam Collection and Derek Lam 10 Crosby
Derek Lam is currently seeking interns to support its Merchandising team for the Fall/Winter 2017 term.
Requirements
Qualifications:
-Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
-Knowledge of the Designer and Advanced Contemporary market
-Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
Student must be able to receive school credit in order to be considered.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Conducting market and trend research, and competitive pricing analysis.
-Generate Wholesale and Retail selling reports, Best Seller reports, etc.
-Build seasonal product knowledge packets.
-Maintain accuracy of line sheets and market materials.
-Input style information in PLM systems.
-Update and track changes in the Style Master.
-Visit major department stores regularly to replenish and merchandise the floor.
