RIOT SOCIETY is looking for a Digital Marketing Spring 2017 intern. Our ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated and eager to gain hands-on experience in the field of fashion. We are looking for a passionate intern with a working knowledge of the fashion industry and an interest in pursuing a career in marketing / Ecom. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must! Applicant should be a self-starter and able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. A love of fun is a necessity, and strong computer and management skills are appreciated.
This is an unpaid internship. However, we do provide the following:

• Lunch reimbursement – up to $10/day
• School Credits


• Ability to work at least 3 / 4 days a week
• Previous work or internship experience in fashion/marketing are a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong Computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Fashion GPS) are appreciated
• Must have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Proactive in nature


Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Accurately completing all data content for upload templates
• Responsible for uploading 15-25 new products online weekly
• Must be organized and prepared to meet marketing and seasonal demands
• Ensures that all projects are completed in a timely matter
• Work closely with our Web team to communicate any bugs and content issues.
• Works closely with photography for expedited content, uploads, fixes and creative collections
• Works with marketing and design teams to create new campaigns, lookbooks and collections
• Must possess strong writing skills and continue to evolve writing styles
• Researching and staying current with fashion trends
• Meeting with management, marketing, and purchasing departments
• Updating project management tools (basecamp)
• Share creative ideas for new colors, styles and collections
• Maintains good relationships with other team members
• Communicates effectively to other departments and other associates
• Answer emails, phone, fax, etc.
