The film follows Daniel, 23, as he returns home to his small town from a high calibre photography internship. His friends and family are hugely impressed by his success in the city, only to discover he had lied to those closest to him, to hide his embarrassment. The film tackles themes of coming of age, the pursuit of success and next step anxiety.

We are looking to cast the roll of Joe, 23, a sporty, popular lad. he is the cousin of the lead female/love interest, Steph. Joe is an important part of the pivotal scene where Daniel tells Steph he was unsuccessful in his pursuits. Joe, Steph and Daniel are at their local, reminiscing about drunken teenage adventures they shared together. Joe begins to question Daniel about his life in London in a very forward, linear thinking fashion. This is crutial to the plot as it pressures Daniel into revealing his secrets to Steph, putting himself into a vulnerable place. The scene ends with Daniel putting his friendship with Steph at risk due to the results of Joe’s boisterous actions.

As a collective of filmmakers, we put our passion for the project first and have had work screened at festivals such as Student Art Festival – Florida, International Euro Film Festival – Marbella, Spain, San Antonio Indie Film Slam, Visionaria and screenings at institutions such as the Valencia Institute of Modern Art. We look for like-minded people who are easy to work with, talented and want to be a part of creating something spectacular. we have had a small amount of funding to cover production costs, transport, food and submission costs to a number of festivals.

We are holding auditions for Joe on the 1st of April.
Actors should arrive at 11:00 for a half hour workshop followed by a duologue (script provided on the day). We will finish at approximately 12:30
