Casting directors are looking for non-union women to portray African American Muslim mothers and grandmothers for a shoot that will be on Tuesday, August 9th. They are only looking for women who have not yet worked on the show. “Orange is the New Black” films in the New York City area.
About “Orange is the New Black”
A privileged New Yorker ends up in a women’s prison when a past crime catches up with her in this Emmy-winning series from the creator of “Weeds. According to IMDB, series tells the story of Piper Chapman, a woman in her thirties who is sentenced to fifteen months in prison after being convicted of a decade-old crime of transporting money to her drug-dealing girlfriend.

Central Casting is now seeking non-union women to be extras on the Netflix series “Orange is the New Black”. They are seeking African American women to play Muslim mothers and grandmothers. All actresses must be local to the New York area and available for the shoot on Tuesday, August 9th, 2016.
