Synopsis for New Messiah (2016)

“A man who believes he is the second coming of Jesus, desperately wants to help the people around him, but is soon forced to question his faith after being to be committed to a psychiatric ward.”
New Messiah is a short film, produced as part of a Deakin University honours’ film course. Filming will take course over the last two weeks of October 2016 (approx. five days) and all crew applicants must have full availability during this period. Filming schedules will be distributed beforehand.
Filming will take place in and around Melbourne and Geelong city, from morning to evening with pick-up dates on 8th of November. Several key interviews and meetings will take place in early October and all successful applicants must be able to attend.
Everyone is welcome to apply, experience is not necessary however; we are looking for people who have studied film or media. If you have worked on a film project before, please feel free to forward a link to your work or imdb page.
