PROCESS: The general idea is to get real people to get their DNA tested, so they can find out how their DNA is combined by country. We are hoping to find a range of real people from a variety of ethnic backgrounds from across the UK and particularly people with a very mixed heritage. The initial casting will involve each person coming in for an informal chat about their heritage, bringing along a photo album/photos of their parents/grandparents/family.

The next stage – if someone is selected – would be coming for a recall, where they would also get a free DNA test arranged by production – (this simply involves them collecting some spit cells) Production would then get the results of those DNA tests and choose who they want to use for the final shoot – (THIS WILL BE IN THE REGION OF 10 PEOPLE)
For those who are not chosen for the shoot, they will still be sent their DNA results (if they want) and production will ask them to do a home video of them discovering the results. If this home video is used in the final edit, the individual will get a fee of €470

*N.B* It is up to the individual if they want to be involved in this part of the process.

You must be able to attend a casting in MANCHESTER this SATURDAY 27TH FEB

Production dates (eg. shoot, rehearsals) 5th – 9th April (this includes travel days to Copenhagen)

The interviewees will not be needed for all these days but exact days within this are
