Title: Writers/Scriptwriters Wanted for Online TV Drama Series
We are looking for black creative female writers and scriptwriters to be part of an amazing project, which covers day-day current affairs in the news and media through the millennial realm of a young black girl which directly reflects our society today.
The series focuses on the existence of a young black female in her early/mid 20s as to how she deals with day-to-day life challenges and uncalled for commitments as well as trying to break into a male dominated career.
A self-sufficient woman when it comes to making the people around her happy yet she always seems to be left with a void when it comes to her own personal happiness. Showing partial commitment to her ultimate career/life goals she is out-weighted by dead end jobs, relationships, friendships and un-called for commitments to her complicated family set-up. But when does she decide to stop adding the salt and make a decision to take ownership of her own life?
Potential Themes to be covered include:
• Diversity in a workplace/ Women in a male dominated career
• Family commitments
• Illnesses and strained familial situations
• Impressions of a black woman
• Infidelity, loneliness
• Interracial friendships
• Social media pressures
• Females supporting females
